Who am I?

I’m currently VP of Marketing at Tiny Prints where I lead the company’s marketing efforts.  I’m passionate about helping people express themselves, so it’s no surprise that I’ve spent the last decade and half marketing products that help people do just that, be it through stationery, t-shirts, or beanie baby collections…  Prior to joining Tiny Prints, I was at CafePress, the ultimate online destination for self-expression.  I’ve also spent over six years at eBay trying to ignite passions for collecting just about anything.  Before going web 2.0, advertising was my preferred arsenal to help people get in touch with their inner beauty (Dove) or find better mortgage rates (Bank of America), and I practiced my craft at several agencies on Madison Ave, including Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA Chiat Day and Deutsch.

But my first passion in life is definitely my two kids, who bring me unspeakable joy and newfound appreciation for “red wheel barrows”.  I’ll be the first to admit that work/life balance is a foreign concept right now, yet the idealistic side of me still strive to “have it all”, at least in my own way…

I got my MBA from Harvard Business School, and BA from Brown University.  I grew up in Taiwan by way of the Dominican Republic, and have lived in nine U.S. cities in the last two decades.  Thankfully, I am now happily settled in Menlo Park, California.

Thank you Lanya! I did successfully track down my HS counselor and he just sent me a reply which I posted on tonight’s blog entry: https://redwheelbarrows.wordpress.com/

I am grateful for your support and encouragement, as it relates to this blog and in so many other ways.
